LLANTHONY SHOW & RODEO   Last Live Rodeo In The UK

Saturday 4th August 2012

'One of the best loved shows in South Wales'
The one day show was originally founded following a critical BBC documentary about the Llanthony Valley in 1959 called 'The Dying Valley'.
Local people banded together to prove that the valley was anything but dying by creating the Llanthony show in 1962. Its continuing success over the last four decades has proved how wrong that original judgement was.

The show is deep in the heart of the Llanthony Valley, surrounded by The Black Mountains of Monmouthshire. Set in a thriving hill farming community, the longstanding popularity is driven by full support of local people. As the show is completely organised by voluntees, with no major corporate sponsorship. It is exactly 6 miles from the A465 and takes 15minutes to reach.

Hoofin-About will have a trade stand at this year's show, so look out for us on the hill!

As you can see in the photo (look at the jacket) this is Neil Fearn representing team Hoofin-About in the rodeo...
