On arrival at the trekking centre, you will be asked to fill in a health form regarding your fitness and any other information they should be made aware of, which will enable the riding centre to give the best possible day out. Beginners will be given basic group tuition before mounting there Horse/Pony.
Riders of all levels from experienced to beginners will go as one group. Experienced riders will be given the option to have a canter away from the rest of the group with one of the guides. It is also possible for intermediate riders to try a canter as confidence is gained, however this will be at the discretion of the trek leader.
All riders are accompanied by experienced and friendly guides who set the pace according to the riders ability. Lunch time will be spent at a friendly pub or in the height of summer, maybe a picnic. After lunch we ride back to the trekking centre to arrive at approximately 4.00pm, where you can help un-tack and groom your Horse/Pony.
On our way home we stop at a friendly pub where refreshments and a choice of good food is available before returning to our main departure point at approximatley 9.00pm.
Polite Note: This is an activity day in all weathers from hot sunny days to wetter colder days, so please... NO WHINGERS! |
