BEACH RIDING WEEKEND
Fri 22nd - Sun 24th June Fri 7th - Sun 9th September 2012
Leaving Coventry at 1:00pm from the Standard Triumph Club, Tile Hill, Coventry Business Park, Herald Way, Coventry, CV5 6UB.
We travel by mini coach (stopping en-route) to the Pembrokshire coast. Our Self contained cottage is set right on the sea front and is just minutes from the riding stables. "The Mariners" is a little old smugglers Inn which is just across the road from our accommodation.
Saturday/Sunday - Ride through the deserted beaches. Scale the cliffs on horseback to see magnificent coastal scenery. Your first cliff top canter is guaranteed to take your breath away. All this on well mannered Horses and Ponies ranging from beginner mounts to award winning show jumpers.
All riders can enjoy a trek in the care of friendly, experience BHS Instructors. For the more experience rider, there may be a chance to pop over a few jumps in the riding centres private valley.
In the event of adverse weather conditions, the indoor menage can be used for Gymkhana/Cross Country etc. to finish the holiday.
Saturday night you will be transported to a near by "The Harbour Inn" which is set beautifully within the harbour overlooks the picturesque Solva countryside. The Harbour Inn restaurant sources local and seasonal produce to ensure freshness and great taste. They are famous for the local sea food dishes. http://www.harbourinnsolva.com/eat
This is not included in the price.
On our journey home Sunday dinner will be waiting for us at
"The Green Dragon" in Monmouth. We arrive back home at approximately 9:00pm.
