Welcome to the Hoofin-About Website
Hoofin-About Horse Riding Holidays was formed in 1969, taking people from all over the world, countless times to go pony trekking in Wales. In those days, there was no Warwick Bypass, M42, M5 nor M50 and the cost was £1.50 to go pony trekking for the day with Coach return from Coventry.
Taking International footballers, the emergency services (including the Tally Ho Centre mounted police Birmingham), school groups, 80 special needs and even completely blind people, are just to name a few people who have came along with us and enjoyed the experience.
In 2001, the country was hit with Foot&Mouth, resulting in it being forbidden to move any live stock throughout the land, which for Hoofin-About, meant no riding. So, on one of my many visits to Equitana, Essen, Germany, where countless riding centres from throughout the world come to advertise their stables; I formed face to face contacts with owners from Austria, Ireland, Spain, Hungary, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Romania, Iceland, USA and Canada and spoke to them about what they offer. In doing this, I’ve travelled to the majority of these places and have taken many successful trips.
I believe people who run riding centres that are prepared to travel vast distances to meet people like me, who takes people on horse riding holidays, after the expense and trouble of travelling to these big shows. They must have something incredible on offer… So join us on one of our fantastic holidays, making an ever-lasting memory for you to be eager to return.
